  2.   The GAP Editor is a Full Screen Visual Editor.  To use the Editor
  3.   your communications program must be able to emulate an ANSI terminal.  
  4.  
  5.   The GAP Editor uses ANSI Escape sequences to position the cursor
  6.   and provide the Visual Display. Even if you do not have color turned
  7.   on, you may use the Editor if your communications program is able
  8.   to recognize and act upon ANSI display codes.
  9.  
  10.   If you answer Yes to use the GAP Editor and you see control codes
  11.   and other garbage on your screen, press Esc twice and Type 'A' to
  12.   abort the message. You should then use the regular message editor
  13.   to enter your message.

  15.   The GAP Editor uses Word Star Control characters to move the cursor.
  16.   In addition, the "Doorway Mode" and ANSI Keyboard emulation are
  17.   recognized.
